Each counsellor with a profile on this website, after this referred to as "the Counsellor", is the controller for the processing of the personal data (as described in this privacy policy) which you may send to a specific Counsellor, using the contactforms on the profile pages .


Personal data you enter on a profile page of a Counsellor on this website are sent to the Counsellor using a secure SSL-connection. All contactforms use this secure SSL-connection.

 

On this website no personal data are saved. The Counsellor receives the personal data you've sent.

 

This website is managed by Evenio, seated in New Zealand. The management is secured within a Data Processor Agreement between the Counsellor and the manager of this website. This website is hosted on servers of a hosting provider in the Netherlands (Antagonist) who meets the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data the Counsellor processes

The Counsellor processes your personal data because you use the services of the Counsellor and/or you provide these personal data yourself to the Counsellor. Below you see an overview of the personal data the Counsellor processes with the goal of getting into contact with you.

- Your city/town (not mandatory)

- Your telephone number (not mandatory)

- Your email-address

 

- Other personal data you provide actively when filling in the contactform.

 

 

Sensitive personal data the Counsellor processes

The Counsellor processes the following sensitive personal data:

 

- Your health, in the case you mention anything about that in the contactform.

 

You are free to not mention anything about your health in the contactform.

 

 

Reasons for personal data processing

The Counsellor processes your personal data for the following reason:

 

- To call you or e-mail you if that is neccessary to deliver his/her service.

 

 

Automated decision making

The Counsellor does not take decisions on the basis of automated processing about issues that may have (considerable) consequenses for people.

 

 

How long the Counsellor saves the personal data

The Counsellor doesn't save your personal data longer than needed. You can ask the Counsellor how long your personal data is saved.

 

 

Sharing of personal data with third parties

The Counsellor does not sell your personal data to third parties and will only provide your personal data when it's needed for the execution of the agreement with you or to comply with the law.

 

The Counsellor has a data processor agreement with the business who process data for the Counsellor to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your personal data. The Counsellor stays responsible for this data processing.

This website only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytics cookies that don't breach your privacy. A cookie is small text-file that is saved on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. 

 

The cookies we use are neccessary to make sure this website works and is easy for you to use for. They also make sure that we can optimise this website.

To measure the number of visitors on this website, we use google analytics. We have a data processors agreement with google. IP-addresses are anonymised and the option to share details/data with google is turned off.

You have the right to access, change or have your personal data deleted. You can send the Counsellor a request for that.

 

You also have the right to file a request to the Counsellor to look into and have the personal data you shared with the Counsellor sent to you.


To contact the Counsellor you can use the contact form in the profile of the specific counsellor, or use the contactdetails you received from the Counsellor. The Counsellor will contact you per e-mail.  

 

To be sure that the request is made by you, the Counsellor will ask you for a copy of your identity papers as supplemental to your request. In this copy you should cover your passphoto, MRZ (machine-readable zone), and identity numbers. This is for the protection of your privacy. 

 

The Counsellor responds as quickly as possible, within four weeks, on your request.

 

 

How the Counsellor secures your personal data

The Counsellor takes the protection of your personal data seriously and takes actions to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, changes and publication.

 
Should you have the idea that your personal data is not secured or misused, please contact the Counsellor by using the contact form in the profile of the specific counsellor, or use the contactdetails you received from the Counsellor.

 

 

Security of data processing using the internet

Although we have taken and will take security measures, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. There are risks when processing personal data using the internet, which are inherent to the use of internet. This is as your own risk. The manager of this website, nor the Counsellor are liable for that.

 

 

Entering reviews

When you enter a review in a profile of a counsellor, we do not save any of your personal data.

 

When you write a review, you can enter the following data:

 

- Name of your counselllor

- Your (first) name (not mandatory)

- City / town (not mandatory)

- Your rating, if you recommend this counsellor and your experience.

 

Should you (by accident) enter your full first name and last name, we will delete your last name, making sure your contribution to this website is anonymous and no personal data from you are saved.

 

 

Entering tips, stories and replies

If you place a tip, story or reply on our tips fora or peer support fora, we do not save your personal data.

 

If you place a tip, story or reply on our fora, you can enter the following data:
